Art takes many shapes in Downtown St. Pete. A variety of assets contribute to the unique and vibrant feeling that emanates from live music halls, performance venues, street buskers, museums, galleries and murals on building facades.

According to the International Downtown Association, typical downtowns of a similar size to Downtown St. Pete have 52 public art installations, 17 live entertainment venues and eight museums. Downtown St. Pete hosts 152 public art installations including murals, sculptures and mosaics, 36 live performance venues and 10 museums. Additionally, a 250-seat comedy club is set to open in the summer of 2026. St. Petersburg punches above its weight in every category.
